Manchester-based experimental act, Marconi Union, release new single, Blowback, another very fine specimen of their contemplative, neatly crafted electronica.
"Blowback is an unusual track in that it’s quite cinematic with power and momentum but at the same time it’s tinted with nostalgia and an underlying sense of loss or disappointment,” the trio's own Richard Talbot describes.
Signals, Marconi Union's new full length, will be out on November 5th, 2021 on Just Music, is expected to be coming forth with a more pulsating direction, combining the band's comfortable, emotive composition with their thirst for experimentation, and both examples off the album thus far find them turning to account the prowess of their musicianship.
