Blushing return, two years after their self-titled debut album on Wallflower Records, with the announcement of their signing to Kanine Records and the first single off their upcoming sophomore full length. Possessions arrives on February 18th, 2022, and it's introduced by the first single and video, Blame, featuring shoegaze/britpop legend, Miki Berenyi.
For Possessions Elliott Frazier of Ringo Deathstarr returns to production duties, and Ride’s Mark Gardener, mastered the album at his OX4 Studios in the UK. Created during a period of turbulence for everyone, the album is expected to be an artwork which reflects a currently changing world.
Blame is a traditional-inclined shoegaze pop track on which both Blushing and Lush's Miki Berenyi unite in an experienced and skillful manner. The song is paired to a psychedelic visual in which different realities coalesce, leaving the viewer stunned.
