Secret Shame return with Victoria, their first new single since April 2020, a powerful post punk song correlated to the Asheville run of Bloodbath: Victoria's Secret, a new original horror/eighties slasher-themed play written by playwriter Jamieson Ridenhour.
Ridenhour approached Secret Shame after the release of their debut album, Dark Synthetics, with the idea of composing a theme song for his new play which eventually led to the punch that is Victoria.
Victoria represents the ideal of the Final Girl in a horror story quite precisely, while at the same time it carries the same drive which has made Secret Shame one of the most prominently rising names in today's post punk and darkwave.
