Merciless, incredibly intense, post metal/sludge heaviness comes from Melbourne's Class Traitor, a band composed of members from Munt, Bøg, Religious Observance and Beggar. The group emerges with Glass Heart, their first single ahead of their upcoming album, Calving, presented in the form of a video recorded live at Beveridge Rd Studios, Silvan, paired with dark psychedelic visuals by Matt MacLennan / CHRISTWVRKS.
A seven-minute, slow-burning piece of immersive ponderousness, the song has its grounding in doom metal, hardcore, post metal and sludge, with both the extremely despondent vocals and the monolithic instrumentals being essences of the profound gloom of Class Traitor.
Calving comes out through Crucible on December 10th, 2021.
