Alternative art rock stalwarts, Failure, return with new album, Wild Type Droid, their sixth in total, expected out on December 3rd, 2021 on Failure Records, featuring artwork from Beeple, and introduced with new single, Headstand.
The new song finds the band in a quite heavy and brooding mode, and at their most arresting since their 2013 reformation. More intense and headier with each listen, the new song bears all the characteristics which have made Failure a deeply influential act whose impact goes way beyond the confines of both their time and genre.
Concentrated production, ample doses of musical adaptability and Failure's subtle but perceptible experimental approach, comprise an all around ultra spacey and enveloping listen.
