LA-based singer-songwriter June Swoon unveils one more follow up to the well received full length, This Town Could Be Big Enough for the Both of Us. The standalone single, Queen of Hearts, has its foundations in traditional Americana, although it is quite notably embellished with evident characteristics from dreampop, garage rock and nearby styles.
"This galloping song captures the vulnerability and uncertainty of hoping someone will love you when you're not at your best," the artist describes.
With unfeigned lyrics, and musically as acute as the act's previous works, Queen of Hearts rolls in sincerity, while June Swoon moves forward one stable step at a time.
