New Coke is the newest single off A Very Special Episode's latest album, FIX YOUR HEARTS OR DIE. The song comes with a creative, wintery video shot in February 2020 pre-pandemic by Jeffrey Star which easily leaves the impression of an indie horror film.
The Brooklyn noise rock trio describe New Coke as "a cautionary tale on hunting vengeance-seeking witches in unfamiliar lands."
A slow burner with straightforward, well designed outbursts and a great deal of intensity, the song finds A Very Special Episode at their darkest and moodiest, exploiting the storytelling qualities of their craft on their own terms.
