Danish producer Trentemøller is gearing up for the release of his forthcoming studio album, Memoria, due out February 11th, 2022 via In My Room. The album has been introduced by a couple of singles and videos thus far, the latest of which is Dead Or Alive, an energetic cut with a grittier sound and a notable krautrock propensity.
Memoria is expected to be the artist's longest album yet, including 14 songs, while being an evolving album in nature, it also honors the five canons of storytelling, including inventio, dispositio, elocutio and pronuntiatio.
Dead Or Alive clearly slants on Trentemøller's darker side, with the psychedelic, shoegaze and post punk properties full on. The song's accompanying cinematic video was directed by Fryd Frydendahl.
