From Dallas, Texas, fresh band, Greybloom, emerge with a deeply emotional direction to their songwriting, and a rather heavy sound which fluctuates between post hardcore, post rock and contemporary metalcore.
New track, Sage, follows the band's debut single, Monolith, from earlier in 2021, and it comes rather dynamic and sentimental, with excellent production and an impressive instrumental figuration.
Greybloom comment on Sage: "This song is about deconstructing and leaving toxic belief systems, so it carries a lot of grief. Instrumentally, it gives space for reflection in the beginning. As it builds to the end, it embodies both anger and sadness; the loneliness of feeling like you no longer have somewhere to belong."
