From Stockholm, Sweden, a new, super heavy hardcore act, Pretty Low, bring forth a notably furious, energetic and melancholic sound with pristine production, and frantic performances. The band's new single, Chair of Nails was put together at Studio Fredman in Gothenburg, where Darkthrone, Dimmu Borgir, Opeth, In Flames and many more have also recorded.
The song's lyrics are themed on the idea of categorization, and how one might be criticized without creditable cause of actual knowledge on their character.
Although Pretty Low incorporate a variety of sounds to their angsty hardcore, their main influences seem to lie in the bleakness of death metal and black metal.
