San Francisco's fresh noise rockers, Rip Room, prepare for the release of their first album, Alight and Resound, after having successfully self-released and toured on two EPs. For their upcoming release the three-piece reconnected with acclaimed engineer, Tim Green (Nation of Ulysses, Melvins, Bikini Kill, Sebadoh), and the output is a razor-sharp blend of noise rock, punk, and art rock with plenty of intensity and grit.
Through the first single, Worth Repeating, Rip Room provide something direct and powerful, built on aggressive rhythms and biting lyrics, but with a feeling of vibrancy and lightness that creates a wonderful contrast.
Alight and Resound comes out on May 27th, 2022 through Spartan Records.
