Composed of poet Vanessa Matic, and Joey Camello (Fearing, Death Bells) new project, Future of Horror, bring their heady darkwave and minimal synth sound to to bloom, combining it with sharp lyrics and an overall poetic approach on their self-titled debut EP, released through à La Carte Records.
Funny Games is a good illustration of the duo's themes of horror, doom and gloom. The highlight track succeeds at leaving a bitter, yet, enticing aftertaste, displaying a project with a clear aesthetic vision and plenty of inspiration for their craft.
