A rising act in post punk and beyond, Brooklyn's Catcher share a self-directed music video for Behind a Bleeding Heart, the last single off their very well received first album, The Fat of a Broken Heart, which was released earlier in 2022.
Commenting on the new video, drummer Wilson Chestney remarks: “For this video, we took some inspiration from Ira Cohen and covered our demo studio in Mylar, shooting a lot of the reflections. We also experimented with styling Vaseline on the lens of our camera and directly shooting a camcorder monitor.”
The frantic song is converted into a misty realm of warmth and enthusiasm in the new video, which immediately becomes a terrific representation of the live energy and the all around genuine brilliance the band is able to bring.
