The debut track by Cathedral Scene, Cemetery Sings, is also the first single from their upcoming EP, Scene I. The Canadian post punk band create an extremely dismal combination of exquisite, deep, and coherent songwriting with a coldwave and minimal approach to their dark post punk sound.
Cold synthesizers and distant, detached vocals are the main features of Cathedral Scene's musical craftsmanship, which produces a bitter and gloomy impression, while still sounding rather intimidating from the first listen.
