Prisoner is the second offering off the upcoming debut album by Australian synthpop trio, 100%, a dynamic and throbbing revamped track initially heard on the band's 2014 demo tape.
Chloe Blackwood (Cannon), Grace Stevenson (Rebel Yell), and Lena Molnar (Bloodletter) come together as a dense creative unit in this new take, intensifying the darkwave, new wave and no wave attributes of their act, coming up with a piece that raises concerns about authority, connection, and safety.
Prisoner is infused with the trio's trademark dark and glittering synth sounds and heightened rhythms; an intimidating and unrelenting piece of eccentric synth-driven post punk. Dominated by the accuracy and quirkiness of those enticing synthesizers, Prisoner is another outstanding illustration of the distinct craftsmanship of 100%, and their vision for the new album.
Clear Visions, will be released in its entirety through the eclectic Melbourne-based label It Records mid 2022.
