Extreme sludge/doom metal band, HUSH, deliver the rather weighty, THERE CAN BE NO FORGIVENESS WITHOUT THE SHEDDING OF BLOOD, serving as the first single from their new album, The Pornography of Ruin, which releases on June 24th, 2022.
Between the earlier material of Neurosis and the more forcefully mournful and ultra heavy sound of Eyehategod, HUSH find a balance by creating a kind of extreme heaviness which has their own signature. A sludge and doom metal core upholds an amalgamation of influences including hardcore, ambient and experimental sounds, elevating everything in an post metal hybrid with a deeply pessimistic atmosphere, infused with additional intensity and aggression.
The track comes with an accordingly dark and moody video, directed by Mark O'Brien.
