After their excellent pair of EPs, From Within and From Without, from 2021 and 2022 respectively, Zetra return with new track, Into My Flesh, once more putting forth their seamless fusion of shoegaze and metal, always with a dark and melancholic twist.
Into My Flesh tackles concerns of ambiguity and ritual in contemporary cultural norms, offering ideas of detached perception and intimate control.
Adam (guitar, vocals) and Jordan (synthesiser, vocals) have become a productive and recognized conduit for detailed and complex narratives through sharp guitars and soaring melodies. Into My Flesh is not an exception to the band's signature sound, though it is a terrific piece which further advances the band's creativity.
