OKC shoegaze/emo rock hopefuls, Mad Honey, unveiled their latest single and video, Odds, off their two-song release, Promo '22, together with the announcement of their signing to Sunday Drive Records.
The new release contains some of the band's more straightforward songwriting, carrying their influences from nineties indie rock and shoegaze, and translating them into something completely sincere.
"This song is a hopeful message about staying true to yourself," the band comment on Odds whose fun accompanying video was directed and edited by the band's own Lennon Bramlett.
The two tracks, with their delightful guitar leads and expressive vocal harmonies, make for an enjoyable new offering in present shoegaze rock and adjacent genres.
