For a heavy dose of relentless, minute-long hardcore punk, Rochester, New York band, Leaking Head, release Left 2 Rot, part of their upcoming debut seven-inch, Better Homes & Gardens, to be released through Mangoe Records.
The band's roots are in their local scene, where they began more than a decade ago for a brief run, before returning in 2020, to move forward creatively and continue executing their initial vision.
Left 2 Rot is a particularly frenetic piece, a burst of hardcore punk compactness built with attention, with its lyrics addressed to those who have been disenchanted by their own home.
More hardcore punk delights can be heard on the band's demo EP from last year, all of which serve as hopeful foreshadowing of what's to follow.
