Brighton up and comers, Shady Baby, take a bit of different direction from the Britpop-tinged spirit of their debut single, Come To Life, and turn to their American inspirations for their second offering, Lonely Town, a vibrant piece which recalls the familiarity and drive of early Foo Fighters, Weezer and the like, reaffirming the group's strong fondness for nineties indie rock.
Shady Baby frontman, Sam Leaver, describes the new track: “Lonely Town is about the creeping sense that you’re becoming detached from yourself and the people around you, whilst trying to keep a lid on it and act normal.“
Lonely Town pairs with Come To Life to make up a double A-side 7-inch single delivered through UK guitar scene specialists Nice Swan Records.
