Winter Warriors is the third and most recent single off She Yearns For Other Worlds, the impending album by Polish black metal act, Cisza. Having been two years in the making, the new album presents the band's melodic take on the genre and their refreshed new approach, together with sounds which hark back to their earlier offerings.
"It's about brotherhood, companionship and courage," the band say describing Winter Warriors, a beautiful disparity of darkness, intensity and boldness.
With traditional black metal as its foundation, Cisza's music does not hesitate to test the boundaries of both more classical and more contemporary styles, such as progressive metal and post metal, eventually resulting in an exhilarating and consistently atmospheric listen which engages fully.
