While the more melodic passages provide a comfortable foundation for the band to express their enticing compositional qualities, the brutal outbursts seem to be equally tuneful and offer a refined contrast which holds the listener involved.
Unmapped Constellations, an imposing seven-minute number, kicks off Lightlorn in a very promising and appealing manner, and packs a punch on most levels.
