Based in Brighton and London, post punk band, Hadda Be, return with their new single, Mercurial, one year after their well received album, Another Life. The new song, which was recorded at Brighton Road Studios, hints at the sonic path of the band's sophomore album, which is currently in the works.
Mercurial highlights the darker angles of the crisp post punk sound which is the firm base of Hadda Be's artistry, and at the same time pulls inspiration from a wide range of alternative rock from the nineties and beyond, resulting in a work that feels both accessible and out of the ordinary.
The song is accompanied by a music video by the band's frequent collaborator Innerstrings, whose expressive visuals magnify the song's volatile soundscape.
