The Early Mornings are a London-via- Manchester three-piece which formed in 2019. The band will release their sophomore EP, Ultra-Modern Rain, via new label home Practise Music, after perfecting their live sound across the UK, supporting the likes of The Raincoats, Porridge Radio, and Shame.
The title track and first song from the new EP is a focused and playful number, the exemplification of the sound of The Early Mornings, and their quirky and jagged post punk approach.
The band create an art form which immediately comes across as wholehearted and infectious, with a snarky vocal execution and complexities which range from more minimal and differentiated no wave influenced moments to full on punk noisiness.
