Silvana Tello and Oman Morí, based between New York and Lima, Perú, continue their creative path as the experimental duo Fem/Bot, delivering the first song from their next EP. Neural serves as a more refined embodiment of the band's genre-fusing attitude, incorporating elements from numerous underground musical styles such as post punk, darkwave, krautrock, and psychedelia.
A combination of eerie atmospheres, big synthesizers, and rhythmic beats, Neural is a particularly gloomy endeavor which uses darkwave principles and an ever-kinetic instrumental frame to sound exceedingly stimulated, recalling the edginess of no wave and seeming extremely unsettling and menacing as a whole.
