As the release date of Ladytron's widely anticipated new album, Time's Arrow, approaches, the band has released yet another excellent single from it. Faces follows City of Angels and Misery Remember Me and contributes to a clear picture of the album's quality.
Faces is named after the 1968 John Cassavetes movie of the same name, and it conveys a nostalgic sound and overwhelming impression, while also being a fairly propulsive piece with immaculate production, in keeping with the band's high standards.
Faces comes on the back of Ladytron's announcement of West Coast US tour dates in Spring 2023, with the band performing in Seattle, Portland, and San Francisco in support of their upcoming album. These will be followed by previously announced UK dates in Glasgow, Liverpool, and London in March 2023.
