Oakland, California-based group, Cheree, come up with a strong and noisy industrial sound which is also deeply embedded in hardcore punk. The band's first offering is the imposing single, Churn Down, a track off their forthcoming six-song release, Factory.
The harm associated with wage labor is addressed in the song, which becomes a signature track for the upcoming band, bearing the character of the entirety of Factory. Tough vocals, and a raucous instrumental mashup of guitars, drums, samples, and noise. make up a pretty noteworthy first release.
