Boston band, corporeal, recently made their debut with a sound that puts an experimental twist on shoegaze while fusing components of noise rock, grunge, dreampop, and slowcore in a very unique way. After releasing their echo chamber EP last year, the band has returned with a new album which continues in a completely unconventional direction.
eyes is the dreamy opening track of corporeal's new album, wanting more, a very intriguing experimental release with a strange and adventurous tone all across its eight-song entirety.
The song, like the rest of the album, has a psychedelic disposition, and seems complex to define in plain terms, being thoroughly intriguing. Its thick wall of sound and cloudiness adds to the band's overall impression of ambiguity, and makes for a winsome listen.
