Cashier are a new shoegaze band from Lafayette, Louisiana, who have come up with their first self-titled release, including two songs; Fear of the Past and Beginner.
The band's debut offering is an eight-minute showcase of their songwriting prowess, impassioned execution, and preference for a grungy and fuzzy approach to shoegaze.
Big, reverberating guitars and a strong energy level are the key characteristics of both tracks the band has published thus far, as they bring forth a sound which is familiar and very much appealing at the same time.
