A descendant of the warped post punk of Wire and Gang of Four and the stirring power pop of Squeeze, The Stranglers, and XTC, all coming up encased in a cinematic cover, Cloaking Love is an angsty and nervy track with strong emotional lyrics.
Demonstrably, Lewis Lloyd's vision for Plattenbau is still persuasive and quite enchanting.
