German band, The First Eloi, has been starting out in a slow, yet, assertive manner, and as they are still determining their place in the dreampop and shoegaze realm, they have come up with a series of singles which derive from a place of quality and musical bliss.
Neverland is the fourth single by The First Eloi, a moody and fairly disheartening dream themed on a world without play. It is as melodic and dreamlike as the group's previous material, and serves as yet another showcase of a band that's on the rise.
In the song's narrative, Tinkerbell may have left us all, but the song's melodicism remains to amount to a subtle sense of optimism.
