Avalyn is a recently formed quartet from Liverpool. Their second single, Sea Change, was produced by Robert Whiteley (The Night Cafe, The Wombats), and mastered by Mark Gardener from the great RIDE.
After releasing their first single, Distant Days, towards the end of 2022, the band has been refining their captivating sound rooted in elements of shoegaze, post punk, and indie rock. Their latest release combines the atmospheric essence of shoegaze and dreampop with contemporary pop melodies, accompanied by emotional lyrics which convey the charged anguish of losing people who were once close.
Andy Power and Grace Woolston rise as the winning voices which lead the way; Max Lalonde takes up the mantle of the lead guitar; and Maxime Meunier commands the drums, as the four-piece act creates a notably promising and harmonious whole.
Avalyn have embarked on a tour across the United Kingdom and performed in European shows, including Paris, where they had the opportunity to share the stage with notable acts like HighSchool, GIFT, and October Drift.
