Spirit Award's latest full length, The Fear, is a freshly released album, following a string of preceding singles which offered a compelling glimpse into the overall quality of it. The album is now available through Share It Music, with the esteemed Sub Pop Records serving as the distributor.
Near the record's conclusion lies the memorable track South Dakota Cops, which encapsulates the narrative of being arrested in South Dakota while in possession of both mushrooms and marijuana, all transpiring during an unforgettable journey across the country.
South Dakota Cops is rooted in a post punk domain, and emanates an electrifying dynamism, presenting an excellent sound. The entirety of The Fear exhibits the distinct production prowess of Trevor Spencer whoa has also collaborated with acts such as Beach House and Father John Misty.
