G.U.N (Galvanic, Unapologetic, Noise) is a trio from Sydney/Eora, formed in 2021 during the pandemic, consisting of Nathan Dick on vocals and drums, Roberto Klaic on guitar, drum machine, and synth, and Frx Murphy on bass and vocals.
White Ox is the latest release from G.U.N, an exhibition of their experimental fusion of genres with punk as the foundation and elements from club music craftily implemented. The song explores the concept of adopting a cold turkey approach to sobriety, and acts as a proof of the band's explosive sound and individual compositional style, displaying their avant-garde nature.
White Ox is an unorthodox piece of music, which seems difficult to categorize, but at the same time appears enchanting to try and follow musically and thematically.
