Australia's Hot Reno have come up with a well made and quite engaging sound on their latest single, Crying in Your Sleep, drawing inspiration from their hardcore and alternative rock origins.
The band describes their new song as their most meaningful and heartfelt work to date. In contrast to their previous offerings, Crying in Your Sleep goes through slower, weightier, and more epic ways.
Hot Reno showcase a fresh approach to songwriting, with a post hardcore foundation, while also venturing into the realms of shoegaze and guitar-driven alternative rock. With a wistful lyrical direction, the song explores the terrifying concept of the fear of free-falling from the sky, straight to the ground.
The members of Hot Reno include Harley Jones (lead vocals, guitar), Ben Wilcox (drums), Jack Lalor (guitar), and Nick Horsnell (bass).
