Pacific Northwest dark stars, Ringfinger, return with new single and video, An Apparition. It serves as the final reveal before the band's anticipated debut album, In A Black Frame, scheduled to be released in the fall of 2023.
An Apparition is an evocative and moody darkwave number which involves a propulsive bassline, drum machines, otherworldly guitars, and dense synthesizers, while it showcases the characteristics which have made Ringfinger a formidable new presence in the genre. A memorable chorus is accompanied by a poignant spoken word passage performed by the band's bassist and vocalist, Hannah Dow-Kenny.
An Apparition finds Ringfinger continuing being faithful to their distinctive dark style while also venturing into uncharted creative grounds.
