Harm's Way have revealed a fresh single and accompanying video which is a preview of their upcoming album, Common Suffering. The new track, Undertow, includes a guest appearance by King Woman.
The new track is undeniably stunning, displaying Harm's Way at their most intense and, arguably, their finest. Kristina Esfandiari's haunting vocals introduce a fresh layer to the band's intense heaviness and their gritty metallic hardcore essence.
The band comments: “Undertow looks at the cycle of life and death, and one’s process of coming to a space of acceptance with the latter. While we can argue that self-preservation is inherently human, finding peace in death and dying brings us that much closer to humility and our shared humanity.”
The accompanying video for Undertow is visually strong and compelling, directed by Finn O'Connell, and features both Harm's Way and Esfandiari.
Common Suffering is set to be released on September 29th, 2023, via Metal Blade Records.
