The song weaves together gentle melodies with thunderously heavy riffs, maintaining a refined equilibrium between lighter and darker tones, and effectively accenting the band's drive.
Vocalist Carolin takes center stage, exploring themes of insanity, destruction, optimism, and recovery, with her vocals transitioning from delicate whispers to gut-wrenching howl, as the rest of the band delivers a strong and heavy instrumental base.
Hollow World was produced by Hiili Hiilesmaa (HIM), and mastered by Ted Jensen (Alice In Chains, Mastodon).
