Remote Echoes, a compilation of previously unreleased tracks by Duster, is set to be released in physical formats on November 17th, 2023, through Numero Group. The album, comprising 14 unreleased tracks from the group's archives, made its digital debut on September 29th, coinciding with the label's release of the 25th anniversary edition of the band's great debut album, Stratosphere.
Derived from five years of home recording, Remote Echoes presents a lo-fi, textured, and ethereal representation of the band. Featuring a mix of cassette-only demos previously issued under the titles Christmas Dust and On The Dodge, the new release also includes several previously unheard pieces.
The Weed Supreme is a concise track which demonstrates the band's remarkable songwriting, and their sound which is always strong, even in its demo form.
