NIGHTSISTER continue their emergence from the shadows with their latest single, Die Young, an emotive darkwave piece accompanied by a visually bold video directed by Thomas Knight and Griffin C, shot at Island Station Media Lab.
Considerately stirring up things, the track finds the band placing guitars at the forefront, with the lyrics channeling intense feelings of resentment, disappointment, and frustration. Rooted in classic post punk, NIGHTSISTER's dark aesthetic permeates every note, creating an overall grabbing piece.
The Portland-based duo showcases unwavering consistency in the quality of their releases. Their previous single, Devour You, was a haunting love song, then again, Die Young takes an even darker turn, touching on the depths of a harsh breakup.
