Gleam is the newest offering by dreampop band, Letting Up Despite Great Faults, released as part of the fifteenth anniversary extended edition of their 2009 self-titled album. It is a previously unreleased song, in essence a B-side from the album.
The song comes together with a brand new accompanying clip, and features actors and a director all the same age Letting Up Despite Great Faults was at the time of the album's first release.
The music serves as a delightful embodiment of the band's distinctively dreamy sound and style, evoking a nostalgic era when perceptions of invincibility and vulnerability collided.
The upcoming anniversary edition is set to feature additional B-sides and demos, with a scheduled release date of March 8th, 2024.
