Dead Conversations is the newest single by Hull-based post punks, LUMER, a band which has been on the rise, working toward the development of their debut album for a long while. They have announced that their first full length, No Jury, No Prizes, is on the way, of which the new track is the first taste.
“A passing thought of conversations I would have rather not been apart of, whether the subject was wrong or the manner in which it began. Out of politeness it can be difficult to leave, to me that defines a Dead Conversation of which I have had so many.”
Recorded partially at Eiger Studios by the band themselves and at Golden Claws Studios by Mathis Kolkoz, No Jury, No Prizes focused on concepts of monotony, boredom, populism, and existential contemplations on life and death.
