Limbonic Art was formed by Daemon in 1993 as a full band with three other members. The band's initial run lasted from 1993 to 2003, and they released five albums, the first of which, Moon in the Scorpio, was released in 1996 and is still regarded as a milestone in underground black metal.
Ad Astra Et Abyssos is the opening track of Limbonic Art's new album, Opus Daemoniacal, coming on June 28th, 2024 from Kyrck Productions & Armour.
The new track is quite formidable and forceful, with strong lyricism and a more aggressive tone compared to the atmospheric approach of the band's early offerings, and it shows Limbonic Art in a very creative state.
The band's statement mentions: "It's with extreme pleasure and great satisfaction to unleash the track that ignited the entire process that led myself to creating music again. With new eminence, "Ad Astra Et Abyssos” is a musical and mental journey through my labyrinth of thoughts, into deeper regions of space. It inspired my fervid and chilling video, filmed in the majestic snow-covered wilderness of Norway."
