WILL LAUT is an experimental project with a multifaceted sound and an intriguingly creative approach, blending elements of ambient pop, noir minimalism, and synth-based avant-gardism. Founded in Los Angeles and Paris, WILL LAUT is spearheaded by Frankie Gothard, also known as COH, renowned for his contributions to the avant-garde computer music scene of the late nineties. Drawing inspiration from COH's past projects with vocalists such as John Balance of Coil, Cosey Fanni Tutti of Throbbing Gristle, and fashion designer Ann Demeulemeester, the duo creates a distinct sound.
WILL LAUT is fronted by vocalist William Laut, at one point a contestant for Eurovision, whose experiences range from collaborating with children's choirs to composing rock songs and organizing Asian music showcase festivals.
