In keeping with the project's signature dark post punk sound, the fresh track expresses a sense of inconsistency and resignation in addressing and dealing with current issues while bringing forward an aspiration for an ideal world free from turmoil and anguish.
Sisyphus clearly conveys the sense of powerlessness and dread associated with pressing issues such as the conflict in Palestine and the effects of climate change. The song also explores the contradiction between the need to embrace the unchangeable and the determination to fight.
