Mind Prisoner: Phantom Dreams

Portland's black metal duo MIND PRISONER has returned with the forceful new single, Phantom Dreams, produced by Scott Elliott at Chernobyl Audio. The track offers an early preview of the band's highly anticipated debut album, The Color of Ruin.

The song examines deeply private traumas, emphasizing themes of loss and grief as well as the internal conflicts which ensue from these passionately felt emotions. When combined with the intensity of the performance, its extreme heaviness effectively conveys a profound sense of inner turmoil and desperation. The overall theme of the song represents the recurrent nature of pain, regret, and the pursuit of peace in the midst of never-ending hardship.
