Always Winning is the third single from the upcoming debut album Burning Neighbours by underground band Neighbours Burning Neighbours. The album is scheduled for release on September 13th, 2024, through Subroutine Records. The band also prepares to tour across the Netherlands and perform a special show at Paradiso's main stage alongside label mates Tramhaus and Texoprint.
The band describes Always Winning as an anthem for those grappling with the trouble of ADHD. The track presents their signature blend of post punk and noise rock, delivering a moody atmosphere through biting guitars and instrumentals, as well as sharp lyrics.
Reflecting on the creative process behind the song, the band shared: "The beginning of the song was born in the Epic Rainbow Studio, a recording studio in Rotterdam, whilst recording the first half of our debut album ‘Burning Neighbours’. Alicia grabbed the guitar and was noodling something beautiful, Daanie heard something in their head to go along with, in the back Aram was recording the drums for ‘Hesitate’. A few days later Kat wrote a baseline for the jam while we were recording at Katzwijm Studio and it all clicked."
