Emerging shoegaze band Osnova is back with their latest standalone single, Waiting for June, a beautifully atmospheric track which exhibits the group's exceptional and emotive performance.
The band describes: "Waiting for June is about looking back on what you’ve gained and lost while growing and changing throughout your childhood. The title itself comes from that feeling you got when you were a kid- always looking forward to the next fun thing, the school year to end, the summer to start. But when it’s all over is when you realize that what was so special was being in those moments you wanted to pass. And what’s left is the nostalgic romanticizing of it all."
Osnova consists of Caroline McLaughlin on vocals, Jean-Claude Vorgeack on guitar, bass, and synth, and Sam Ribeyro on drums. Waiting for June is out on Dune Altar.
