Hot off the great reception of their recent EP, ghost beach, dayaway is back with a mesmerizing new single, Lost on You. This time, the project has teamed up with draigh, the psychedelic pop outlet of band member Graham Marsh, and the result is an great blend of lush production, heartfelt lyrics, and a sound which finely expresses the meeting point of dreamlike indie pop and twangy psychedelia.
Lost on You is the second single from draigh’s upcoming EP, A Dream Away, slated for release on December 12th, 2024 via Turn to Wind Recordings.
dayaway's Amber Renee comments on the song: “Lost on You is really quite a sad song. It’s about the realization that you love someone who isn’t in a place to receive it. Your love is real, but it’s wasted on someone who can’t hold its weight.”
