Following the release of the first three singles, A Foretold Ecstasy, Paint It All in Blue, and Never Sever, Norwegian post punk outfit Mayflower Madame is unveiling yet another track from their upcoming album Insight. Their new single, Crippled Crow, stays true to the band’s signature fusion of sharp post punk and expansive shoegaze, while venturing into darker territory with the addition of noise rock and darkwave elements.
The new track carries a wistful tone, evoking feelings of longing and remorse against the wintry backdrop of Oslo. At the same time, it is a hauntingly beautiful piece as it is filled with an insatiable need for emotional release and growth.
Insight is slated for release on November 1st, 2024, via Night Cult Records.
